Anyone else feel she’s straying too far into Lana Del Rey vocal stylings?
Fortnight really sounds like a LDR song to me. The tune, lyrics, vocals … all of it.

As someone who’s the same age as Taylor, I found her storytelling and songs relatable at 21, but to be dating recklessly at 34 and crying about heartbreak on a new album every six months strikes me as immature. What bothers me about Taylor is that she is a 34 year old woman acting like she’s a doe eyed 19 year old.

Yes, and she can't do Lana Del Rey the way Lana Del Rey can. I wish some of the songs were sung by Lana actually. She'd do it better.

I agree to an extent, however. I also think her life looks much different than most. She writes what she knows...

I think the album is good, but out of 31 songs there are going to be better than others. I thought that was a weird line also.

The last time I danced and sang to Taylor Swift was when my son had a lot of friends (girls) k-end of middle school who were always at our house. So I jumped on Spotify just now…The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is about Trump, right?

This. When I was her age I had 3 children (oldest was nearing 10), had been married for over 10 years, moved to 2 different countries, and was settling in and enjoying life. Her emotional struggles give me Amy Winehouse vibes.
