It should all go to OJ's children. OJ's children have done nothing wrong. Any image rights, future book sales, movies etc... the children should get it all.

Goldman had his chance through the years to make OJ pay. Now let OJ's family live in peace.

His children from his first wife should get nothing. All his children (even Nicole's, I believe) have stuck by him. His estate should pay whatever part of the judgment he still owes to the Goldmans and Browns from losing the civil suit.
I thought that Goldman and the Browns received their civil court settlement? If not, Goldman and the Browns should get their settlement. However, whatever kids OJ has from his first or any other marriage, should inherit his estate.

As of 2021, OJ had only paid a little over $100,000 to the Goldmans even though the judgment was $33 million. Not sure about the Browns. All assets should go to satisfy these judgments.

Why wasn’t the judgement enforced? How did he get away with not paying the Goldmans?

I remember hearing that his NFL pension was not subject to the judgment. But what he has left of that money, if he saved any, should be now. His kids don’t get a pension from the NFL so it’s now treated differently.

No pension once you die.

DH and I were just talking about the CTE angle. I doubt his family will have his brain examined but the findings would be fascinating. Not an excuse, but I am sure his brain was damaged beyond belief.

Of course, but if he hasn’t spent the money he received because of the pension, the Goldmans should get it and not the kids.

I’ve always believed the real killer was his son from his first wife. Jason was a chef , had some sort of rage/bipolar disorder and a restraining order for wanting to stab an ex gf. Huge red flags there. OJ apparently hated blood and suffered from arthritis. An arthritic man stabbing over and over two adults including a karate trained Ron never tracked for me and the closeness his kids have to him also confirms my suspicions. The oldest boy was crazy

Has the kid done anything since then? Has OJ been violent since then? OJ - yes, son - dunno.

But yet it was OJs blood at the scene and the victims’ blood was in OJs car and on clothing found in his bedroom. And oh wait, OJ was insanely possessive and had a history of beating Nicole, but sure it was Jason.

What do you mean?

One of OJ's defense attys was the Kardashian's father (who is now deceased).

And there are (probably silly) rumors that OJ was the father of one of the Kardashian kids, I forget which one.

It was rumored to be Khloe

That would actually make sense, tbh. She looks biracial, not Armenian and Northern European. It could also explain Kris’s obsession with all her kids being super, super tan. Jenner’s kids don’t look like the mostly Scots Irish descent people they should look like. They are fake tanned to oblivion, except for Khloe, it appears.

Khloe's biological father is Alex Roldan. The OJ rumor has always been just a joke.

OJ moved to Florida because you can’t lose your home to a judgement nor trusts. He financially made it impossible for anyone to collect money from him.

He even went so far to hide his college and NFL trophies by given them to someone. That someone tried to sell them, OJ tried to get them back in Vegas. He was convicted in Vegas for violently trying to get them back.

Huh, weird...maybe you have a point. He wasn't a great guy?

The blood on the scene is controversial because his defense was able to note that OJ was getting blood drawn while he was in jail to aid the investigation. The defense was able to use Mark Fuhrmans racism and LAPD’s past history of planting blood on the scene for black suspects to be able to get OJ acquitted. So much focus was on the glove but it was really the Fuhrmann comments and his history of evidence planting that really ruined the case . The entire prosecution says they knew things were over after that because the judge was not happy and neither were the jurors about Furhman

Say what you like about OJ, but his turn as Nordberg is the Naked Gun series was highly acclaimed. A talent on the pitch and in front of the camera.

You’re referring to a Kardashian. Any sense of decency went out the window a long, long time ago.

She is still a human being.

Let’s not go overboard.

Innocent people don't flee the scene with their passport, cash, a gun, and hair dye in their car.

Right, because the LAPD was like you know what, we are out to get black people so let’s pin a murder on the whitest black guy ever and a beloved sports hero, OJ Simpson. Dude literally said I’m not black I’m OJ. His house had to be redecorated before the jury visit because all of the photos in his house were white people. I’m not saying Fuhrman didn’t give the defense a lot to work with, but come on.

To my mind this is one of the three real tragedies of this whole situation:

1) that OJ, who I think had some real talents and charm, managed to grow up in a way where he had a lot of unresolved anger/rage issues….he sublimated it through football, but never dealt with whatever demons he had. This is true of so many men from rough backgrounds or neighborhoods and it’s a tragedy each time.

2) That Nicole didn’t have the family support or self-esteem to choose a different path, and kept getting pulled back to him even after he beat her terribly, and all their fancy friends and the police turned a blind eye because he was rich and famous

3) That the LAPD allowed racist liars to so infect the department that the jurors, and much of the country, just could not trust the evidence and ended up disliking the LAPD even more than they did OJ.

It just highlights three of the saddest, most problematic parts of our country’s race, gender and class dynamics. It’s incredibly sad on so many levels.
