This. There are some crazy sexist things in this thread.

Homewrecking is her fault, not his.
She's crazy.
She lured him away from his wife.
She instigates him.
He drinks because of her.
She must have alienated the children from him. He couldn't possibly have done it himself.
No one likes her. Everyone loves him.
He is handsome and has the attention of women. She's a shrew.
She has mental health issues.
Menopause causes her to have mental health issues.
She won't let go of the story of him being an abuser.

I don't give an F about Angelina Jolie. I find her extremely distasteful and she probably is crazy. These types of comments are too often said about any woman who speaks up against a man, and that's what I find objectionable.

I'm sure the vast majority of Hollywood stars of either gender have serious issues and are jerks. Including Brad Pitt, even if he happens to be one's celebrity crush.

You are ignoring the fact that she aggressively discredited him, made reprehensible charges, alienated him from his children, and painted him to be som viscous drunk abuser, which the public gobbled up.

The PP's point was that he can be guilty of exactly what she claims even if she is also mentally unstable. In that case, he is the one who discredited himself, acted reprehensibly, alienated himself from his children, and behaved as a vicious drunk abuser.

I aggressively DO credit my abuser- as well . He WAS a vicious drunk abuser/ like Pitt was.

She continues to talk about it because it’s true and it happened to her and people like you want to infer she deserved it.

I'm the PP you're responding to. I was supporting your point. I think he did it and I don't think she deserved it, no matter how messed up she herself may be.

The inference you are referring to is that is that she was so nutty that she drove him to drink and drove him to fight with her. By the accounts of their relationship and marriage, that seems reasonably accurate. They fought a lot over the children's upbringing, which was very unusual. By the time of the airplane fight, he was totally blocked out and mostly checked out.

Abuse is wrong - but as parents, many of us sympathized with him because she was so controlling and so strange in her extreme parenting. Those poor kids.

this. She's worked on revamping her image, but I find it telling that she has no friends at all--and when she befriends people it doesn't last.

Some of us have long memories.

They're both being vindictive but are obviously very hurt over each either. a spanish actress said he thought she was Angelina for a second (she doesn't but he has a facial blindness disorder) and told her friend she looked looked like angelina. they said his mood changed and he sounded down about it. This happened just last year at his Bablyon premiere.

I don't really buy his act that he's moved on and very happy/very strong with his new gf or whatever his PR says every week.

This took me forever to find! Her name is Hiba Abouk.

I really don't believe there are more than a handful of people commenting on this thread incessantly. If you look at the other threads on the Entertainment forum, most do not reach this level of replies unless about something very interesting to the mainstream (like Diddy, Kate). But about Angelina? I think a stalker is all over this thread.

Are you the moron who reported this and was already told multiple people are posting?

Yes I know I’m sorry! I misused the quote function and was trying to piggyback off of your reply to the PP.

That's not what they said at all. Brad's drinking was because of his dependency issues that started before the relationship

Um, someone copied and pasted a dozen comments in that post to complain. Crazy. Perhaps Angelina isn't as beloved as you think.

I’ve changed so much since my 20s! I’m so grateful to have people in my life who see that clear and long evolution. Judging a stranger for how they behaved- growing up in addiction fame and discord- twenty years later is scary to me.

If I were raped today I sure hope no one would say I deserved it because of how I dressed 20 years ago.

Lol definitely. Like we know she's had a crazy past. Brad still turned into an aggressive drunk

These are two of the most famous people in Hollywood, everyone knows who they are and has an opinion.

Yeah, she didn't cause him to start drinking - but she did raise their children in an extreme way and iced him out, long before the separation. From the very beginning, TBH.
