I don't understand your point. The pp's figures are accurate re even to your citation. UVA is $40k in state and $80k OOS. Georgetown is $94k - I just went and added it up. |

Double agree. Other state's flagship = other state's problems. If you aren't getting the discount for it, don't put up with class seat shortages, difficulty registering, housing headaches, problems of scale, and other assorted headaches that come with every public flagship. Yes, every. Go for the plusher private institution. If you were at the beginning of this process I would have advised you to seriously pursue your own state flagship. But you didn't, and these are your choices. Go with Georgetown. |
