So I guess Maryland just smells of weed now

In Maryland at least there is also a big overlap between race and class but plenty of working class whites smoke weed. Including my electrician, and I'm very tempted to not call him again because it was clear he smoked before coming to my house and the smell lingered and I'm annoyed as he's also a nice guy and an excellent electrician.

People who'd have smoked tobacco in the past are now switching to weed. It's that simple. At the same time the more educated and prosperous sectors of society just don't smoke anything any more.

If your electrician is a nice guy who is excellent at his job then why don’t you mind your business on what he does on his own time.

You also might want to stop giving ignorant opinions on who you think smokes.

NP. DD and I drove around looking at Christmas lights and one cul de sac reeked of skunk weed, despite not a soul being outside. The stuff is pervasive. I smell it on the road pretty frequently, and wonder if people are driving while stoned. It’s unnerving.

That's probably my cul de sac. My boomer neighbor seems to be out back smoking the stuff everyday, multiple times a day. It hangs in the air, but fortunately we have an awesome HVAC system with an internal air cleaner.

Dude, if you are reading this, please get some edibles.

The stench of weed doesn’t dissipate. It’s a sticky, thick, skunky mess. I always know when someone’s high even if they don’t reek. Pot makes people dimmer and dumber. Bill Maher is the face of a lifelong weed enthusiast. Grey skin, beady eyes, dry mouth, smelly, pontificating dipshit.

Because I don't want my house to stink of weed. It's that simple. He's lost business because he came into my house reeking of a weed vape pen and I could still smell it after he left. I'm not putting up with it. And it also does affect my judgment of him (it's gone down, unfortunately).

I can tell you have a weed habit and resent being judged for it. But you need to accept the consequences of your decisions and actions.

At least tell him that it bothers you before you drop him. He may not realize that it will affect his business, and honestly, he shouldn't be impaired when working on people's wiring. There probably are restrictions like that on licensing.

NP.

Are you too high to comprehend simple sentences? She said the electrician smoked right before showing up to work on her house.

Electrical work on the home where my kids sleep every night is not something I want done by someone stoned out of their mind.
