Personal theories that may or may not be based on facts

Windows offer little to no UVA/UVB protection. So depends on the office layout (i.e. desk next to large windows) and how long commute is.

The keto diet treats anxiety better than any medication.

Interesting -- say more? I know this isn't supposed to be based in facts but you may be on to something, with swings in blood sugar...

but isn't that true, that being hydrated helps not retain water?

does anyone thinks it solves the real problem? outside of making things easier to cope with so you can concentrate on the actual issue?

That’s what they all are. They know the crap they peddle is false. They are just looking for schmucks who will believe them and give them power.

My and my dds' seem to also have some immunity to covid. We have never, to our knowledge, had it. I do test if we get sick-we spend time with elderly relatives and it's for their safety. I work an essential job so never locked down. We are type O negative blood type, if that matters.

And adding speed to the equation does not help.

I wish this were true. I avoided ADHD meds until my 40s, despite realizing that I needed them in my 20s. Since starting they have been life changing. The days I forget them I truly have trouble concentrating. I do believe some people use it as an excuse, and I see a lot of that here with husbands who don't engage with their families ("maybe they have adhd"????)

I tried so hard to be organized and not be forgetful, and it wasn't a choice for me.

Everyones brain does better on stimulants!!!!

My theory is that attacks on abortion rights are a response to the browning of American. More white babies are needed, so access to abortion goes away to increase that demographic.

Have you researched the demographics on abortion in America?

I've heard this many times and thought it was common knowledge.

really? are whites more likely to abort when it's legal?

Wrong! We fully supported our DD when she claimed she was gay, knowing full well she was not gay and knowing she would eventually discover her true sexuality. The goal is to support your child as they navigate their feelings and experiences.

How did you know this?

No whites are the least likely to abort:

I 100% agree.

Well, you are wrong.

Why are some of you in here arguing with people about what they believe when OP made it clear these are the things we all believe that aren’t necessarily based on real fact. Who cares if they think this? You’re missing the point of the whole thread.

It’s one thing to have a theory that can’t be proven one way or another other and isn’t harmful to believe, but I don’t blame people for rebutting provably false beliefs, especially when the belief is harmful. PP saying her dog is her reincarnated mom? Have at it; hope it brings you peace. PP saying adult ADHD is just an excuse? Sorry, but you’re wrong and it’s fine to say that.

We never landed on the moon. I subscribe to the whole Stanley Kubrick theory. Plus, there is just no way. We went in the 1960s but haven’t been back sense? Why?

Is smearing chemicals on our face really healthier for us than natural sunlight? All the research seems to say yes, but I just can’t get on board with this and kind of thing sunscreen is a scam. I also think sunscreen is destroying our reefs.

I totally agree on this one. I see a neurologist for migraines and he preaches how crucial sun exposure is.

I’m so confused too by people who live in northern climates who believe you have to apply sunscreen every day even if you work in an office and barely go outside. Can anyone explain?

I do avoid going outside between 10 and 3, when the sun is strongest, or if I have to go out during those times I apply sunscreen. But other than that I don’t see the need.

There has been advice given over the years from dermatologists that you need to wear sunscreen every day even if you’re only outside for 5 minutes. I don’t follow this but that’s where it comes from.
