stop saying you love fall, like it’s something unique

Do Asian or black women regale about fall?

Latinas?

South Asian here. Also love fall. Hate pumpkin spice everything and the color orange but love fall weather and the changing colors.I have four tiny cream and brown ceramic pumpkins on my mantel as of today because it was 55 degrees at my kid's early morning soccer game. That makes it fall.

Wow. That’s disappointing. Be proud of your heritage. “Loving fall” is a white person thing.

I love fall but I hate fire pits. They totally ruin my enjoyment of crisp fall weather when the neighbors run them incessantly and stink up my porch.

Anonymous wrote:OP here and I do love fall, who doesn’t? That’s the point. Going on and on about how it’s your favorite season is dumb, because everyone likes it. It’s like saying how much you like cake on your birthday. No duh!

What other expressions of enjoyment piss you off? Jfc people aren’t trying to show their ✨uniqueness✨, they’re verbalizing and sharing their enjoyment, as human beings do.

Do you only ever say things in an effort to express how unique you are?

I think the issue is that OP wants to unique so she's mad about how many women also love fall. It's HER thing.

These responses to the South Asian are brutal. And racist. First people to cry when tables are turned in a thread though.

I think that fall is something that everyone can enjoy vs the Christmas season which is very much about the nuclear and extended family. It’s fun to decorate your house with leaves and pick apples even if you are single. It is more of an equal opportunity holiday.

When I was single I did "back to school shopping" - just for me. Fall clothes for work. And of course pens and notepads. Still a sucker for school supplies. Fall has something for everyone.

I realize I'm probably be the contrarian here, but I actually really love summer!! It's so nice to finally be able to go to the pool and beach.

I do love Fall - for all the reasons others have stated.

What I don't love, in any season, is people who try to tell others what they can and cannot declare.

I love summer in my Northern European home country. I don’t like fall as much there. I loooove fall in Virginia.

Normal people like summer

Beach, ocean, 🍹, 👙

It’s only the liberal arts alum / Gilmore girls / DAR or DAR wannabe crowd that regales about fall

Everyone loves fall. Shush.

Ugh. Not everyone loves fall. I hate it and lots of other people do, too.

+1 Fall is the death of summer and I also hate it.

'Summer died' has been my feeling about fall since childhood. Fall means the trees, grass, flowers are dying. I look forward to spring when the trees, etc. come back to life again, it was always a miracle to watch. But that means 'spring died' when it is 85+ and too hot and I don't like scalding hot and humid weather, then I am reminded that the trees will be dying soon, and the cycle continues. I guess that's life.
