Coffey got way more votes than Clement and Fierro combined.

^Not entirely accurate. Clement & Fierro = 19,822 votes. It should be noted that only 36% of registered voters actually voted yesterday. Here are the results via The Patch as of 10:45 PM yesterday:

"With 54 out of 55 precincts reporting, as of 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Cunningham was leading with 29,604 votes, or 37.91 percent of the vote count, followed by Coffey with 27,299 votes, or 34.96 percent of the total vote count. Clement was far behind with 10,005 votes, or 12.81 percent of the vote count. Fierro had 9,817 votes, or 12.57 percent of the vote count."

No, it's entirely accurate. 27,299 (Coffey) is a much bigger number than 19,822 (Clement + Fierro).

Again, only 36% of voters voted in that election. Luckily there is another election coming up next year. Arlington voters are waking up to the manipulation of priorities set by the most recent and current progressive board and pushing back:

Meant to include this: "Holding a ranked-choice election with just one seat up for grabs is likely to prove less of a procedural nightmare than what transpired in the two-seat primary earlier this year, when the method of tabulation (imposed by the state government on ranked-choice races) seemed to disenfranchise Roy voters to benefit those of Maureen Coffey, who leapfrogged Roy to win one of the two nomination slots. Susan Cunningham won the other; both went on to general-election victories."

It's highly likely that Coffey would not have even been one the last ballot had ranked-choice voting not been employed.

And now Coffey is now looking for an Aide per ArlNow: https://www.arlnow.com

Um, what? And it pays up to $100k a year? Unreal.

VA no right wing candidates period.

Either you are an American or you are not.

There is not two sides.

One and we start from the ground up ie local politics if we want to keep a United States of America. Otherwise we are Putin owned.
