Middle and working class families aren't shelling out $68 for shorts and tank tops.

$68 would be what most Americans would be stretching to pay for at least five or more pieces of clothing.

We are not middle or working class. Never said we were. We are on the private school forum.

Quite revealing about you.

Not really. Lululemon is not that pricey? For some of us that is just normal wear.

Ok they why do your daughters make fun of girls wearing other athletic wear? Tell them they only wish they could afford it? Seems like they care more about the label than just putting on any old thing for the day. It's not really the best out there, so why that brand?

but there's a larger cohort in publics such that you can avoid this type of crowd.

My DD goes to a large public. Some girls do where lululemon, but not DD or any of her friends. All UMC families.

She has never asked for one because she knows it's expensive for what it is for teen girls.

But OP thinks they are expensive, and I do, too, for what it is.

LOL, this forum has been claiming for years that you’re all simple middle class folks scrounging to make ends meet so you can send your kids to private school.
