You have to try out and pay to be on a team. Then the team registers to play in the fall league. There are no individual registrations.

Just for high school - Durant, Stars, Takeover and Elevate are equivalent. All of their top team stars and most of their benches have D1 offers. Certain years at certain clubs may be stronger, but they are all elite. GLP is well below that but still good. I've never heard of Thrill

/r/basketball can answer some questions, but I don't know that there is really a forum. Circuit teams will play on their circuits and in a few tournaments like run 4 the roses. I don't think the circuit teams at DD's club played any actual 'AAU' tournaments

Sorry I'm late to this, but I'm trying to play catch up as a new parent in the area and looking for some advice. My son is a current freshman, and will be trying to jump on an AAU team after the HS season wraps up. I've heard a lot of mixed things about so many clubs, but how do Fairfax Stars, Nova94, Nova Cavs, etc, compare to like teams like CTAB, CYA, Arlington Heat? My son has friends who played for a few of these teams this past summer, and from what we've heard teams like CTAB and CYA were better than the other big organizations at the 8th (rising 9th) grade level, is this accurate? Thanks for the advice in advance!

Team Notorious BIG has a pretty good team. Coach Mo is great with getting kids ready for that HS level as he’s a FCPS HS coach currently.
