I live in Florida; I spend plenty of time outside my bubble. You're a Republican. Of course you don't like Democrats. The PP was saying that lots of people just want to blow up both parties because everyone's unhappy - and I'm telling you that no, not everyone's unhappy. |
DJT WAS PRESIDENT |
And the abortion bans making their way through red states suggest that perhaps this is not all theater, after all. We got Obamacare when Dems were in charge. We lost our reproductive rights when Rs were. |
Democrats are making the biggest blunder in history with open border policies:
https://www.npr.org/2022/07/23/1113166779/hispanic-and-minority-voters-are-increasingly-shifting-to-the-republican-party https://www.wsj.com/story/why-hispanic-voters-are-shifting-toward-the-republican-party-1add04ef https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/14/opinions/republican-latino-voters-gest/index.html https://twitter.com/SeanTrende/status/1455957751075573767 The quote in the WSJ hits the nail in the head - Dems are untethered from the realities that affect people the most and care too much about race, increase crime, and attack family values. That's why Latinos are moving to the GOP. Keep on selling race and identity Dems. What a fantastic way to win elections, by creating a never ending story of factionalism and tribal warfare between identity groups. Meanwhile people care about inflation. But at least Biden is jamming crap down our throats like ESG in investment decisions......as that affects anyone on main street in their daily lives versus all of the crime and inflation that's exploding under Democrats' watch. |
+1. These factors drive millions to the polls and will do do again. Roe is not going down without a mother of a fight. |
THIS ^^. And frankly, Democrats/progressives just continue to make fools of themselves, as we see on one college campus after another, in city after city full of horrific rising crime, and at the border, which is a disaster. The title of this thread should be, "Is the Democratic party worried about its survival?" They should be. |
These are all before the red wave that wasn’t. 🙂 |
+100 Well said. Democrats and DEI = Division, Entitlement and Intimidation. |
I haven't seen the latest polling, but I remember reading several years ago that the younger generations were far more against abortion than their parents. |
This. The current GOP would be a fringe party without the power of less populated states and the electoral college. |
They’re young. They don’t know the ramifications of living in a world where abortion is illegal. |
I'm not sure what you read, but this is what recent polling shows: https://news.gallup.com/poll/246206/abortion-trends-age.aspx Much higher levels of support for people under 30. |
They’re also going to be the first group of youngsters to watch their friends die of sepsis or drop out of college for an unwanted pregnancy. Or be prosecuted for taking abortion pills. |
Hey did you say fools? Where are they, let’s bring them aboard the GOP where they belong! —MTG, DJT, Lauren B, and the anti-smut brigade. |
