What fragrance do you wear?

I adore Jo Malone perfumes and wear them daily but agree the scent evaporates quickly. I wish they were more long lasting but still faint the way they are, if that makes sense.

I just got Replica Beach Walk and love it

Usually none. In the fall and winter, I very occasionally wear Dune by Christian Dior, or Chanel No. 5. In the summer, I very occasionally wear the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 perfume mist.

If I have to smell your stench because of your “natural deodorant crystal,” you can handle being treated to my perfume. Fair’s fair.

Hope you aren't into men - vanilla is the #1 smell that men like on a woman.

Jo Malone. I've been wearing the bluebell one recently, but I also love the honeysuckle one.

I have been binge watching fragrance videos on YouTube. I plan to buy Valentino Born in Roma, Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge and Intense, and Delina Extrait soon.

I’m planning to buy the young ladies in my family perfume for Christmas this year.

I’m not sure where you’re getting your information. Perfume sales are bringing in more revenue than ever. It’s absolutely not dated.

Say what? Jo Malone perfumes are horribly strong. I can't take them. I'd hate to find out what you consider strong if you consider those to wear off. I have a sample of the Blush Peony or whatever it's called and it was way too strong and stayed on too long.

Not on everyone. They evaporate on me. No matter how much I put on, you can't smell it on me after 30 mins - and yes I have verified this.

Nonsense

No, not "nonsense" I have other fragrances that I wear that actually DO last on me. JM fragrances do not. It is a thing, who are you to tell me otherwise.

You are both correct. The original Jo Malone was really good and stayed on you all day long. Once she sold it to Este Lauder, it became a joke. For Jo Malone fans, she started again a new brand after 10 years non-compete expired, called JoLove, but it is currently only available in England (maybe somewhere else in Europe, but they definitely not selling it in US).

Wow, good to know that they were bought out. I have only tried one JM bottle and it lasted but that was like 7 years ago.

I have a few I rotate through

Gucci Memoire D'une Oduer
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc (it is a shimmery oil that I use during the summer when going out)
YSL Black Opium
Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom
Le Labo Santal 33

Jo Malone completely evaporates. It’s a waste of money.

It evaporates on me too, but not on everyone. I have friends who wear various JM fragrances and I'm always complimenting them on it so clearly if I can smell it it doesn't evaporate. Lucky them.
