Youngkin is an empty suit. Other than his snitch line, and promises to take away medical choices for women if Republicans get control of the legislature, he's done absolutely nothing.

How were they scammed? The tax incentives provided by MI are proportionately reduced. And MI still gets the jobs + new manufacturing tech (which can be expanded at a later date).

They're still getting the plant and the subsidies will be much lower when Ford officially misses its employment contract. The same thing happened with Arlington and HQ2

Really dumb take. Unlike the GOP governor in Wisconsin who took on the similar deal with no escape clause or proportionality, the Dem leadership understands how to negotiate a deal that is beneficial and protects the state's assets.

Dem controlled Michigan legislature and exec branch has the worst transparency laws in the nation. The full scope of this scam and others like it will never be revealed. And term limited Whitmer will be long gone before it all trickles out.
