Upside of nuisance crimes in DC - it’s driving out the R’s and trumpers!

Anonymous
In fact we should be paying homeless people to strip off their clothes and run around ranting and raving in order to flush fascist haters of diversity who are not suited to live in Washington DC

How horrible that you see an upside to crimes.

NP I don’t think there was ever any implied threat about R’s taking over. The point was that they cannot handle being in a vibrant and diverse city because sometimes that comes with petty crime. So if petty crime is causing them to flee then that’s a feature not a bug. No one seriously believes R’s will move in in sufficient numbers and pose a threat when it comes to elected officials. But it’s nice knowing the ones already here are fleeing.

Vibrant my a$$.

And that’s why you’re living in some exurb in VA. You’re a coward who’s scared of POC, worried someone is going to steal your hubcaps at a stoplight.

It's not the hubcaps. Way to trivialoze those getting violently carjacked. And hubcaps + wheels. Have you not see the twitter feed of the tow guy who shows cars having all 4 wheels removed?

The squeegee stuff in Baltimore tipped over into homicide

Do you see any contradiction here? What political policy do you support that "doesn't hold with crime"? Or do you maintain liberal policy in your mind while living somewhere made safe by less liberal policy?

The solution to driving out any conservatives where you live is to increase and tolerate more crime?

What kind of asinine logic is this? Is this also an admission that Democrats are pro-criminals, pro-crime, and pro-law breaking in general? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Actually that’s pretty much the very definition of “petty”.

He didn’t hurt anyone, did he? No. He broke a few windows during a mental health crisis (where he clearly isn’t in his right mind).

Do you have any data showing that Republicans have moved from DC? From my perspective as an Arlington real estate agent, the people leaving DC are LGBQT who want better schools for their kids and liberals who want better access to amenities like parks, public health, and parking.

If only he had jumped on a live wire while roof surfing.

This is all just beyond parody. No one cares about petty crimes. Everyone understands that comes with the territory. What we're talking about is violent crimes -- homicides, rapes, assaults with dangerous weapons. Those are up 50 percent in one year. Also, not only are there virtually no Republicans in this city to begin with, but there's no evidence that crime is disproportionately pushing them out. This is all just the weird fevered dreams of the young, liberal and stupid.

OK, Oldster.

Time for you to move down to The Villages in FL with the rest of the aged fascists

Oh did Grammie not send you your birthday money this year and you have to bicycle for Door Dash this month?

It's not petty crime, but it's also not really the sort of thing that ANY kind of public safety policy is well set up to prevent. He appears to have had serious mental health problems and had access to guns. Do you think he was going to be deterred from doing this by ... more cops on the street? Tougher sentencing? What is the specific policy change dealing with crime that would keep this sort of thing from happening?

Speaking of fascism: "Not suited to live in Washington DC." Does this mean that you, as the dictator, gets to decide who can or cannot live in Washington, DC?

Exurbs of VA are far more diverse than Washington, particularly with a large number of African Americans who were displaced when those of your sort gentrified DC. There you have the whites cowering in Wards 3 and 6, and the "others" living out of their sight in the remaining wards. In the exurbs, every race and people from many nationalities lives quite well together. No one steals hubcaps -- we need them to get to work in DC where we screw over you city slickers with surge pricing for doing the things you are too stupid to do for yourselves.

The left didn't kill people on Jan 6th and try to hang the VP

The left did not cause the deaths in Charlottesville.

The left is not bringing Proud Boys and Oath Keepers to the streets and rallies

The left is not screaming they will jail anyone who they don't like.

The left did not put up hanging nooses around a stuffed head of Fauci at Rehoboth beach fun land for KIDS!

The left doesn't have F republicans on t-shirts for children.

I rest my case. MOVE along MAGA

Liar. The left actually murdered an UNARMED woman on J6. The right killed no one.

Won’t waste my time on the rest of your fabricated list.

Leaving aside that it wasn't murder, you are equating the Capital Policy Force repelling the rioters with "The Left?" OK

The Capital Policy Force (sic) is anything but eft. Those guys are definitely right wing and probably one of the reason they "could not defend the Capitol" -- wink, wink.
