Just laid off at Biglaw - advice?

Thanks for checking in, OP here. DH started a new job last month and seems to like it. Not Biglaw, one tier down. Pay is still pretty good and he says that the work is interesting. I'm still looking.

A few friends have found non-Biglaw legal jobs over the past few months, some inhouse, etc., so the market does seem a little bit better.

There are also jobs "in house", he should apply for some of these as well. He should not limit his search to just law firms. Good luck!

Oops - I just read the first couple of posts and didn't see the previous post where the OP checked in. I'm glad to hear that he is re-employed!
