We saw this movie in NYC and the author is exactly right, hilarious, and gross, and one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. RIP Bob Saget.

It's not unheard of for a 65 YO to die of heart attack, stroke, whatever. Esp. nowadays during covid.

Also no unheard of for a hollywood comic to have some recreational habits that might not have been good for his health.

He had done a show in Jacksonville the night before.

I know and he had done a show in Orlando at the Hard Rock on Friday so then went to Jax for the Saturday show but was back in Orlando Saturday night tweeting about it. I think he had a bunch of shows all over Florida and other places but not a bunch of shows in Orlando, that would be odd. Not sure though.

alcohol? They medical examiner didn't mention alcohol. I just hope it wasn't an unintended overdose. He was so young! and genuinely a nice guy.

I read online this morning that he had had the ‘rona (according to him!)

But it is unclear when he had it.

So it makes sense that he could of died from that.
However it would be unlikely that he could have done a two-hr set if he truly had COVID.

For whatever reason - from all the celebrities who knew him > one thing is for certain.
Bob was much loved + is already sorely missed by many. 💔

65 is a senior citizen and the beginning of being old for those who are still alive, but it is relatively young to die. I’m 48, so definitely not young among the living, but if I died today, people would say I was so young…for a dead person.

There’s the issue of people getting blood clots from Covid. That would match the suddenness of his death. And the interesting stat someone posted in the political forum the other day, where an insurance company reported a 40% increase in deaths of 18-64 year olds compared to pre-pandemic rates.

Plenty of 65 year old men die suddenly from heart attack, stroke or aneurism.
Plenty of celebrities use drugs. There's no reason to be so indignant that he didn't, or to think that it was a big problem which caused his death.

Any medical personnel here that can answer a question?

Since his autopsy was done today, would something cardiac or embolism related have shown up?

The medical examiner said cause of death would take 10-12 weeks.

Does that only mean toxicology results?

Oddly enough, as soon as someone's parents turn 55 or 60 on this site. EVERYONE assumes they need care, or might have some type of memory issue, or is "old"- so save your drama queen comments. There's really no reason to assume drugs were involved due to a celebrity status. That is stupid
