Gadsden flag license plates - are there more these days?

Is it just me or are there a whole lot more Virginia Gadsden flag license plates around these days?

I have no data to back this up and it could be that I am just looking for them, but I have been spotting so many more on the road in the past couple of years.

And its not all white soccer moms driving Suburbans.....

I don’t know, but the ones on foreign cars crack me up. Especially those on British cars.

The Gadsen flag has unfortunately been hijacked by the beetle-browed right. They, in turn, have been emboldened by the hijacking of the Republican party by fascists in recent years, so they are more willing to display their ugliness in the form of license plates, bumper stickers, etc.

I find it amusing that the "taxed enough already" crowd is willing to pay an extra tax for a license plate that says they're taxed enough already. MAGA mentality at its finest.

It is not a new thing among the right. I saw an uptick when Obama ran and won the Presidency. It grew with Trump. I haven’t noticed a recent uptick though.

It is not a new thing among the right. I saw an uptick when Obama ran and won the Presidency. It grew with Trump. I haven’t noticed a recent uptick though.

There have been more over the last 1-2 years in my area.
