| Looking to replace a 15 year old Honda Civic with a similar sized (or slightly larger) EV commuter car. What do you drive and what do you love about it? I see a lot of Nissan Leafs in my neighborhood. Also looking at the VW. Thoughts? Would love to hear what you love or hate about your EV! |
| No one LOVES their EV? I see Teslas all over the place, and I have to admit, they are fun to drive. Want something less flashy and more practical. |

You're looking for a small car, not SUV right?
There are some options out there. The Leaf is older technology. How about a Tesla Model 3? Polestar? Hyundai Iconiq? |
| Hyundai Kona EV would probably best meet your needs. |
| I don't own one but love the look of the Hyundai Ioniq. |
| We bought an old Leaf for our teen to drive. Turns out we all like zipping around in it. I'm sure the newer ones are even better. |
| Yes, I’m looking for a smaller vehicle, but bigger than the Volt. Could be small suv. Will check out the Hyundai. |
| WE put a deposit down on a Polestar. I am very excited about it. It is a beautiful looking car IMO and a blast to drive. It is small though so if you are tall it might not work for you. |
I saw a Polestar sedan this week driving next to me and it honestly looked like an airport rental car. Awful curb appeal IRL. |
| My sister just bought a Hybrid Lexus and seems happy with it. |
| Really happy with Bolt EV. OP, what do you anticipate using the new car for where it being slighlty bigger than the Civic will address your issue? |
| I love my VW ID.4, but I think it’s a little larger than you want. |

My i3 was an amazing city car and the range extender helped with long trips. It could park anywhere. It was a carbon fiber go cart. Inside, it was surprisingly roomy. It looks unique. Buying it used was a great deal.
I upgraded to a Model Y for the extra space. It’s a good car. It does road trips well. It’s huge inside. I miss the BMW’s tiny turning radius. I love the speed of the supercharger network when compared to EVGo. |
The ID.4 is, FWIW, slightly shorter than a Prius V or a Honda Accord. It looks big because it's styled like a compact SUV. We love ours, too; the turning radius on the RWD version is fantastic. |
| What about the KIA EV6? |
