Gaza War, Part 3

Anonymous
Criminal enterprises like Hamas are notoriously hard to crack down and the only way to really do is with informants on the inside . I’d imagine there’s lots of suspfision and mistrust within Hamas itself which is why Sinwar went AWOL and didn’t inform anyone else in Hamas where he is . A story that he he had severe pneumonia came out last month which I bet he leaked to pretend or fake that he’s dead or frail.

I don’t know if Mossad has agents within Hamas (I would imagine so) or wiretapping. Hamas doesn’t allow their fighters to have cell phones . They use walkie talkies or something or burner phones

My understanding is that Mossad hasn’t been embedded and so that’s why they were taken by surprise originally.

Shows that Hamas has degraded and become dysfunctional. All the more reason that Hamas needs to stand down and surrender so that hostages can be recovered, food delivered, and some sense of order and stability can begin to be restored.

Sorry if the Israeli government and people do not care about the “hostages” why should we care? What another 200 people when you have killed 32,000?

^ A real group of humanitarians, those CEASEFIRE NOW folks

Also. you're not paying attention to the news at all if you think Israelis don't care about the hostages, you ghoul.

Deliberate starvation - can't call anyone else a ghoul after that move.

Well the thing is I didn't starve anyone, and I'd really like a negotiated ceasefire, but Hamas keeps walking out of negotiations. I actually can call you a ghoul. And I will keep calling you a ghoul.

Fair enough. I think the hostages should be freed but agree with the PP that Bibi doesn't care about them at all and views them as an excuse to commit some pretty evil stuff. Hamas also views them as leverage which is also evil.

In short Bibi and Sinwar are ghouls. Letting one ghoul off the hook for the other ghoul is wrong.

Bibi is terrible. I've been saying that since the 90s. You'll get no truck from me on that point.

Now can you say that it's awful Hamas won't release the hostages - and walked away from ceasefire negotiations?

DP

What is happening here? This feels like a fever dream. Nobody serious has ever denied that Hamas is awful for what they did on 10/7 (you didn't mention it, but let's be clear), for failing to release the hostages, for walking away from ceasefire negotiations, and for continuing to send admittedly clumsy and essentially benign projectiles into Israel (again, you didn't mention it, but let's be clear). Why you and others in the pro-Israeli camp continue to insist that those opposed to Israel's actions are somehow fans of Hamas is beyond me.

Having said all of that, I'm thankful that you recognize what an unmitigated bastard Bibi is ... and I'm hopeful you feel the same way about all Israeli extremists (Smotrich, Ben Gvir, the settlers, and anyone else in Israeli supportive of their extremist policies) and all Palestinian extremists (basically anyone supportive of extremist policies).

This is pure projection. Hamas seems to be holding up fairly well. Abu Obeidah made a video statement today. Hamas continues to post a steady stream of RPG, IED, and sniper attacks on IDF units and the mercenaries they have hired.

Everything bad you have written is almost entirely the product of your imagination. Maybe I should post about how IDF soldiers post nasty videos (women’s lingerie and children’s toys are favored props) because they have deep emotional issues that come from living in a fascist ethnostate?

lol not paying attention? That is you. Israel bombed buildings the hostages were being held in and they have shot/killing way over 100 according to intelligence reports. I imagine to you that is caring?

Israel could have had all the hostages out anytime they wanted them. The hostages are just an excuse to continue the killings. The hostages are from “liberal” areas and the government does not see those Jews as true Israelis. The decision was made to leave them to their fate and make them martyrs. The government of Israel and the people who support it have long ago abandoned the hostages. So let stop pretending this is about getting the hostages out.

The only ghouls are you and your government. Add the 200 hostages lives to your tally. Just remember if you are not ultra orthodox Israel will treat you the same way they treated the hostages.

Stop repeating this nonsense. Most remaining hostages are IDF personnel.

If Israel were run by Muslims, would Hamas have attacked?

The hostages that Hamas refuses to release.

Yes, some of them have likely died through malnutrition and other preventable causes. Such deaths can increase exponentially in a very short time. Early cases are the canaries in the coal mine.

I think if the hostages are with Hamas in the tunnels , they have a higher chance of survival than if they ran away or are being housed by other militant groups . Hamas had doctors checking the hostages routinely so Id imagine they have food as well.

There were 132 hostages in Gaza and about 33 died .

Apparently, many of the hostages ran away from Hamas like the Israelis with the white flag who tried to flag down their military and were killed by the IDF.

The non Hamas hostages are likely dead since their captors don’t have the inside info to elude the IDF the way Hamas clearly keeps doing .

I agree. Israel has flooded and gassed some of the tunnels and thus killed some Hamas hostages. Shiri Bibas and her two young children (Kfir was 9 months old when kidnapped) were apparently kidnapped by a group called Kataib Mujahadin. I hope they are still safe somewhere.

So Israel use chemical weapons in Gaza?

No. Why would it be a fantasy post?

Have you ever read on how Hamas operates?

This is a farce. Genocide Joe thinks he’s so slick.

This platform is being built to steal all of the natural gas deposits off coastal Gaza - not to feed or help anyone. How dumb does he think we are?!?!

2 MONTHS AND 1000 TROOPS?! hmmmmm

Yes. If Israel had the same actions as an occupier /apartheid state that stole Palestinian land and killed en masse, there would be a Hamas

The poster is implying it’s a religious thing with Hamas. Hamas says plenty of times it’s not hence the plenty of Thai hostages and deaths of Arab Israelis on 10/7.
