Sorry if the Israeli government and people do not care about the “hostages” why should we care? What another 200 people when you have killed 32,000?

^ A real group of humanitarians, those CEASEFIRE NOW folks

Also. you're not paying attention to the news at all if you think Israelis don't care about the hostages, you ghoul.

Deliberate starvation - can't call anyone else a ghoul after that move.

Well the thing is I didn't starve anyone, and I'd really like a negotiated ceasefire, but Hamas keeps walking out of negotiations. I actually can call you a ghoul. And I will keep calling you a ghoul.

"Genocide isn’t just mass murder. It is intentional erasure.

Of histories. Of memories, books and culture.

Erasure of potential in a land. Erasure of hope in and for a place.

Erasure is the impetus for destroying homes, schools, places of worship, hospitals, libraries, cultural centers, recreational centers and universities.

Genocide is intentional dismantling of another’s humanity. It is the reduction of a proud, educated, high-functioning ancient society into penniless objects of charity, forced to eat the unspeakable to survive; to live in filth and disease with nothing to hope for except an end to bombs and bullets raining on and through their bodies, their lives, their histories and futures."

You know who isn't getting any humanitarian aid?
The hostages that Hamas refuses to release.

Something for Israel to celebrate I’m sure. Less roaches to be born right? That’s the IDF name for Palestinian kids .

Sounds identical to what Nazis called them

This ticks off (d) from Article II of the genocide convention:

Article II
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with
intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as
such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its
physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group

The only act that is not widespread is (e). If Israel tries to evict Palestinians from Gaza to other states, it will have met (e). The Nakba meets all five criteria for genocide.

Intifada simply means resistance to the Israeli occupation. It can be violent or non-violent. Israel's displacement of Palestinians, which has been ongoing from the Nakba to the present, has been violent and coercive, and the Palestinians need to decide how to respond. The goals of intifada are based on healthy impulses. Palestinians seek full equality, the right of return, and reparations (all of which are, at least in theory, guaranteed under international law; see UN Resolution 194). The ideal solution would be diplomatic, and that is becoming more possible as world opinion turns against Israel's apartheid and colonial government.

Fair enough. I think the hostages should be freed but agree with the PP that Bibi doesn't care about them at all and views them as an excuse to commit some pretty evil stuff. Hamas also views them as leverage which is also evil.

In short Bibi and Sinwar are ghouls. Letting one ghoul off the hook for the other ghoul is wrong.

Yes, some of them have likely died through malnutrition and other preventable causes. Such deaths can increase exponentially in a very short time. Early cases are the canaries in the coal mine.

Bibi is terrible. I've been saying that since the 90s. You'll get no truck from me on that point.

Now can you say that it's awful Hamas won't release the hostages - and walked away from ceasefire negotiations?

I think if the hostages are with Hamas in the tunnels , they have a higher chance of survival than if they ran away or are being housed by other militant groups . Hamas had doctors checking the hostages routinely so Id imagine they have food as well.

There were 132 hostages in Gaza and about 33 died .

Apparently, many of the hostages ran away from Hamas like the Israelis with the white flag who tried to flag down their military and were killed by the IDF.

The non Hamas hostages are likely dead since their captors don’t have the inside info to elude the IDF the way Hamas clearly keeps doing .

The Saudis keep saying they believe Sinwar is in Egypt and took some of the Israeli hostages with him to Egypt.

I don’t know what the chances are of this or if he would even do it.

I think such a thing would piss off Palestinians that he would save himself, his kids, and Israeli hostages over the Gazans

A large amount of the hostages with Hamas are IDF . I wouldn’t be surprised if they stole their uniforms and ID badges and some are pretending to be IDF with the ground troops.

Gaza is the size of a shoebox and urbanized warfare is the worst type of ground combat . The only way Hamas would keep avoiding the IDF is if they have a mole or two or five.

All of the released Israelis said they were surprised by how Israeli Hamas sounded with their Hebrew

IDF should pay attention to who’s not eating or drinking water in the daytime next week in their military as Ramadan begins Monday

Lot of Hamas spent time in Israeli jail so they know Hebrew and watched Israeli TV and read papers so they know how to integrate more than the garden variety Palestinian .

What they want is to get their friends out of jail. They want an entire Israeli prison break and originally planned a prison break on 10/7.

They took Israeli hostages on 10/7 and did all that just to blackmail Israel into giving up prisoners .

Israel promised women and kids but they want men too. They want their friends out and men who aren’t their friends too so they can blackmail them into serving with Hamas forever since they owe Hamas their freedom.

They also probably have connections with Israeli criminals as well .

People need to see Hamas in the context of a criminal enterprise like the Mafia not an actual government
