For goodness sake, OP wants to eat CHICKEN sausage! It's entirely different than pork sausage -- not like substituting ground turkey for ground beef, which is simply tasteless and disgusting. Yet you people do that all the time.

Don’t listen to PPs. Chicken sausage like Aidell’s brand typically has significantly less fat than pork or beef sausages like kielbasa.
For example, 85g or one link of aidell’s chicken and apple sausage has 3.5g of saturated fat. The same amount of hillshire farms kielbasa has 7.5g. |

| Some of the Whole Foods meat counters have freshly made chicken sausage (chorizo, andouille, italian, spinach & feta, bratwurst, etc.) These seem to have a lot less salt than the pre-cooked ones (I have not encountered any type of chicken sausage with as much fat as pork). We just eat it the way we would eat the pork version of the same thing. |

| OP. I just checked the label - it's 2.5g of fat/0.5g saturated (that seems pretty good!) and about 520mg sodium (high sodium, but not unusual for sausage I think). The pasta idea sounds good, I didn't know if the texture of chicken would work for that. I'll try it! |

If you use ground Turkey and it tastes bad your ground beef likely does as well. BECAUSE YOU CANNOT COOK and do not know what you are doing. Herbs and spices are your friend. |
