With the cost of gas right now, how much would you tip for pizza delivery?

Order total was about $40. The pizza place is about a 10-15 minute drive away (we live in the FAR out exurbs.) Dh tipped $7. I think that is too little....it's been an hour and our food isn't here.

It's a small mom and pop type of place. I'm not sure if they applied a gas surcharge. It was $40 for just two pizzas, but they are "specialty" pizzas. |

No. Under 20% is nowhere near a “huge tip,” especially for a delivery driver with these gas prices. |

I wouldn't give a huge tip on a pizza that is an hour late.
.$8 would be 20% a bump up to 10. I wouldn't go beyond that because it starts to get silly and if this isn't over an app you're making things dangerous for the driver . |
