Taliban: no education for girls allowed beyond 6th grade

While everyone has been busy focusing on the “special operation” in Ukraine, the barbaric “new” Taliban yet again proves it is just as horrible and fundamentalist as the old taliban:

Sure - regime change is needed, but who and how to make it happen?

Perhaps the Afghans should fight to make it happen??

Not us.

So sick of the warmongering from liberals of all people nowadays, both with Afghanistan and the Ukraine. Finding myself agreeing with Rs, and I rarely agree with them on anything. Not.our.problem.

OP, you should have learned by now. Twenty years was not enough for you? Maybe another 100 would do it?

I'm tired of being the world's police, food bank, and ATM. Let someone else take a turn.

This seems to be what the Afghans want, given that they didn’t do anything to change this in the past 20 years.

If only the Afghans could have know the Taliban were like this......oh wait.....isn't this kind of like Germany reelecting the National Socialists and then being surprised.

How is it different that GOP wanting women not to have a choice of abortion after 3 weeks?

Why are you assuming OP is a liberal?

The Taliban is near their extreme; the GOP keeps finding new, ever lower standards and greater cruelty.

True Rs are not against warmongering. They have no problem getting involved if it involves our national security, and that could be any US interest, whether it's economic (first gulf war) or strategic. Afghanistan no longer holds any national security interests to the US. That's why Rs don't care about it.

Soft hearted liberals care about human rights, which is why they would support some kind of action in Afghanistan to help girls and women.

RINOs, oth, are really nationalists who want an isolationist strategy. They don't give a rat's a$$ about anyone else except real Americans.

That's the difference.

With the failure of a departure from there why would you think they would do anything different? They saw the disaster of a pull out. See Biden is week to the point Russia and Iran make moves with one attaching us directly.

I figured they’d go back to their old ways
