APS — 6th grade math?

| Can someone explain to me how APS decides which rising 6th graders are recommended for advanced math for 6th grade vs math 6? Are there score cutoffs on the SOL or Math Inventory? Would appreciate any info as well as feedback from parents who have had their kids in either class and their respective experiences. TIA! |
