| When I left my house yesterday morning the gas near my house was $4.39. When I returned in the afternoon it had went down to $3.89 |

Who cares? I am insulted that MD would rewards drivers while NOT rewarding those who don't drive. A blatantly craven and insulting move by MD Democratic politicians. What sellouts.
Boomer Democrats will destroy America. |
yes, damn those working people who can't wfh and have to go into work. How dare they! /s -signed a wfh person |
2 things: 1) you can argue that those that don’t drive never have to pay gas taxes, so they get the constant reward of no gas taxes; or 2) even people who don’t drive use and pay for goods and services that require gasoline and when gas prices go down, the cost of those goods and services decrease also. |
Lol, you just like free stuff. |
We're already in a period of high inflation, giving hundreds of free dollars to drivers will only raise gas prices. Tell me you knew. Society needs to start rewarding non-drivers instead of shoveling money and encouraging people to drive everywhere. |
Your Uber Eats driver had to buy his own gas you entitled a-hole. |
But hey - reducing the gas tax couldn't work. Absolutely won't. Its a bonkers idea. |
Keep posting. Each post is reaching new levels of stupid. |
Kiss my rear. I don't buy Uber Eats. |
Where in the US Constitution does it say that drivers are entitled to cheap gasoline at all costs? If you and your family can't handle temporary spikes in fuel costs, you should sell your car and get a more fuel efficient one. I'm sick of the government subsidizing drivers while giving the middle finger to non drivers. Car culture is destroying America. |
But do you Instacart your groceries? Hire lawn service to clean up your lawn? Shop at a farmer's market where the owners drive for dozens of miles out from the countryside to bring you fresh fruit? |
