4th shot for healthy adults?

Anonymous
DH and I are considering 4th shots. I know people who have done it - the pharmacy doesn’t care. Has anyone on here done it?

I do not get medical treatments that are not recommended. Maybe you should seek help for anxiety? Seriously.

My mother did. She is in her 70s and high risk.

My parents did. In their late 70s. They then caught covid 2 weeks later, but I assume the 4th shot made it a less severe case.

I just saw my rheumatologist and she said 4th shot is not necessary unless you are severely immune suppressed.

No.

2 years from now : "I think I am to get my 9th shot. My neighbor did it, she still got covid but who know how severe it would have been without it". I stopped at 2. Those shots make me way too sick for what they are worth now.

I'm waiting until the official recommendation. Also COVID cases for now are down and we are entering a season where it is easier to do things outside. If a recommendation does come, I'd rather wait until fall when I get my flu shot.

I’m 3 in and won’t do another. The 2nd and 3rd gave me the worst side effects and made me so sick. I’m done until they perfect the formula without any bad side effects.

Why? Are you going to keep getting shots to temporarily increase antibodies every 3-4 months?

You asked for healthy adults. My answer is no.

I stopped at 2 and will not be getting any more. I am a 43 yo non-smoker.

I've only had one total. *shrug*

I have moderate asthma. I will happily get a fourth shot once I qualify. I guess you asked about healthy adults. I’m not sure how you were to finding healthy. If you look at the list of underlying conditions on the CDC website, the vast majority of US adults have one of them.

I might look at what other countries are doing for people with moderate asthma and if it’s recommended, I might get one before its official here
