What did you eat today? Plans for tomorrow?

I feel like I either eat the same healthy stuff or else eat unhealthy takeout. Would love to see what others are today.

Rushed AM: 1/2 apple with crunchy pb and coconut, little bit of high fiber Ezekiel cereal with milk and frozen blueberries, coffee with cream
Stuck at dr appt, picked up 2 empanadas (1 beef, 1 spinach-tomato) to eat while waiting for school pick up
Dinner: 1/3 tortilla grilled with cheese and peppers, kimchi fried riced cauliflower with tuna

Tomorrow:
AM Scrambled eggs and rye toast w/butter and jam
Snack 1/2 apple with pb and coconut
Lunch pick up a wrap or salad??
Snack: lightly salted nuts
Dinner: seafood broccoli stirfry?

Unless we're having people over or there is some weirdness with kid activities, I never know what I'm eating the next day. Do you do a lot of menu planning? (The "today" dinner looks like a sort of hybrid of starving-must-eat-something snack and Proper Dinner)

Well today is now Friday. Our Friday dinners are always pizza as we do a family movie night to kick off the weekend.

Breakfast I made some sweet potato rice pudding, very warming on a cold day.

Lunch I'm going to make rice noodles with carrots, onions, peppers, loads of garlic and a sweet asian sauce.

Snacks this week were grapes and bananas.

Weekends here are very fly by the seat of your pants. DH will most likely grab breakfast for everyone from somewhere tomorrow morning. I assume we'll do takeout for lunch and I'll cook a chicken, spinach and artichoke pasta for dinner. Our weekday meals a more planned than the weekends. I do have some backup super easy/low prep always on standby just incase.

Bfast - cereal, fruit and coffee, milk
Snack - micro greens, cheese Turkey, wrap
Lunch - “scooped” bagel breakfast sandwich, coffee, fruit
Snack - one or two from these: celery with pb, chips and hummus, nuts
Dinner - seafood and vegetable stirfry
Dessert - popcorn or black bean dark chocolate brownie with yogurt

2 cups of coffee with milk
one cup of mint tea
two fried eggs and a piece of white toast with avacado
two corn tortillas with cheese, avocado and homemade salsa
huge takeout thing of cheese ravioli
and maybe the grapefruit I meant to eat earlier today?
probably some additional crackers or popcorn

Tomorrow:
waffles with fruit
for the love of God -5 fruits and vegetables
dinner at the roller rink, so maybe a burger and mozz sticks (sadly they don't serve alcohol)

I've been doing great for about a month really loading up on fruits and vegetables, but kind of fell of the waggon

Today wasn’t my best work:

Breakfast: Greek yogurt, cereal bar, banana for kids, peanut butter on toast for me with leftover kids banana
Lunch: Chick Fil A!
Dinner: Leftover red beans and rice, cornbread. For what it’s worth, I put about 4 cups of chopped onions, celery, and green peppers into the red beans and rice, so I feel virtuous.

Tomorrow will be:

Breakfast: Leftover breakfast casserole, blueberry muffin, cut up fresh pineapple.
Lunch: Maybe corn dogs for kids. Some kind of soup and/or sandwich for me.
Dinner: Sliced ham, Mac and cheese, steamed broccoli with cheese, baked crescent rolls.

DH is working all weekend so his needs aren’t factored in LOL

Normally my 9yo has an egg on a mini bagel with tomatoes or fruit with it. I have an egg with spinach and cheese. Sometimes she’ll have oatmeal with sliced almonds and honey. Today she said she wanted a big breakfast so I made the egg/bagel, tomatoes, one pancake, and a vegan sausage patty ( gardein brand) which she loved. For lunch she has ramen soup with veggies added in a thermos. I had a bagged salad with cheese and black beans. Dinner is Trader Joe’s veggie fried rice with black beans added for protein.

Toast with avocado and cheese

Egg salad, carrot sticks, pepperoni pizza, potato chips, and a grapefruit

Pot roast with mashed potatoes and green peas.

Tomorrow it is same breakfast, then blts for lunch and dinner shall be a fried chimichanga from the best Tex mex restaurant in town!

Half a ham and cheese sandwich

2 slices pizza, half fried artichoke with bagna cauda, 2 taleggio sticks

Not hitting it out of the park today here.

12ish: a grilled artichoke, 2 coconut shrimp rolls, chicken Jake salad

2ish: some pineapple and ginger juiced

4ish: roasted carrots with salt, coconut oil, cilantro

6: avocado chocolate/nut smoothie
Handful steamed broccoli

pre Breakfast - needed to eat a little something to take medicine, so I did a few spoons of cereal with raspberries and milk along with medicine.
Breakfast - 1/2 giant croissant sandwich with eggs, maple bacon, cheese, arugula; side of berries; coffee with cream
Lunch - other half of croissant breakfast sandwich; spinach side salad with beans, corn, avocado dressing; after lunch coffee
snack - ?
Dinner - rest of spinach salad with some kind of protein

I don't think I have an eating disorder... I am coming off a year plus of gastro issues, so I'm still eating small amounts and not eating a lot of wheat.
