Any suggestions on where to order a good birthday cake that is GF? Or several, as will need enough to feed ~20 people?
Thanks |

Don't think they do custom cakes. |

| Happy tart is a solid option but nothing special taste-wise (sweet and heavy). We love chocolate passion pastry in Fairfax. Their gluten free options are limited to 3 chocolate types. But they are all delicious. |
| Is everyone gluten free? I’ve ordered a small cake for guests that are, and gotten a second cake or cupcakes for the rest. I’ve used happy tart in the past but they are really heavy on buttercream and cake was just ok. I like Sweetz in Leesburg. |

No, but the birthday person is. So it seems the main cake needs to be GF. I do like the idea of doing a smaller cake GF and another maybe not, but not sure that they will agree to that. Whole menu is GF--which is usually more palatable. People that have been GF for a long time really can no longer judge too well how bad most GF desserts are, IMO. You get used to it. Rather like when long term vegetarians start talking about how faux meat tastes just like the real thing.

Second this, Red Bandana is incredible. Everything they make is delicious but their cakes in particular. That cheese bread too. Literally couldn't believe it was GF the first time I tried it. |
| Out of the Bubble Bakery is delish. |
+3. Jaime makes fabulous custom cakes. |
| Wegmans has a solid gluten-free sheet cake. Otherwise, Happy Tart. |
