Robert White introduced and the council passed unanimously a resolution making March 6th Marion Barry Day.
What planet do these folks live on? Barry destroyed DC but the progressive council will do anything to ingratiate themselves with white liberals. We didn’t want Ballou named after Barry. We didn’t want a road named after Barry. The statue is a joke. Bowser it is. |

Actually it was Black DC that turned down the naming of the school and the road.

Oh, cupcake, you weren't at the Council when Barry was a member and later when he was mayor. He was adored by rich and poor alike. The poor because he gave them no show jobs and their kids no show summer jobs and to the wealthy because he couldn't be bothered to collect their property taxes. The guy was a crook, liar, cheat, and bad boy -- but , my god, did he have charisma! |
