Montgomery county lifted the indoor mask mandate which extends to daycare‘s and preschools as well. That means there is currently no masking regulation in daycares.
Individual businesses can continue to require it, of course. |
Good. |
for students and staff? or just students? |
Everyone |
Wonderful. This is really, really good news for our youngest citizens! |
"daycares" |
heck yes!!!!! |
Wait what??!! |
It's not going to happen at our daycare. They don't even follow the county's isolation guidance -- put in place stricter standards. |
That’s definitely their prerogative. What is there isolation policy? |
90% of parents at our preschool still wear masks when outside. There's zero pressure on the school to end mandatory masking of children, regardless of how detrimental it is for the children. This entire community should be ashamed. |
DP but ours is still 14 days for both isolation and quarantine for exposure (no test out). |
Ours is similar but parents actively ignore it. I know several who tested positive but kept sending their kids as long as no visible symptoms. |
Sure you know “several.” But no doubt 14 days for every exposure puts a far greater burden on parents than 5 days with a negative test. |
Yes we just got an email about it! Yay!!!
We have an update regarding the use of masks, as of Monday, February 28th, the use of masks for children is optional. Adults and staff still have to wear one. |
