Just for fun: cool, unique middle names

My aunt, born on Valentine’s Day has Love as her middle name.

My friend’s daughter’s middle name is Elvis.

Middle names, imo, are such a free spot since they are so rarely used and unique middle names are so much better than the filler middle names (Ann, Leigh, Rose, Elle, etc)

Lots of great options for boys. Some I've heard:

King
Augustus
Julius
Franklin
Fisher

It feels a lot less common for girls, I think people feel a lot of pressure to pick a "pretty" middle name instead of something with a bit more character (also an issue with first names for girls, IMO). Most girls I know have middle names like Jane, Rose, Lydia, Alic, etc. It's also a very common way to honor a mother or grandmother, but since grandma names are very in vogue right now, those middle names just don't sound very unique at this point.

But one trend I like is people using nature names as middle names for girls. River, Summer, Clover, Hyacinth, Winter, etc. I think these feel like a little much for a first name for a lot of parents, but they are all so pretty and just a much more original middle name choice than the stand-bys.

I’m sure I’ll get ripped apart for this, but DD’s middle name is Fox because she looked like a little fox when she was an infant.

I had a friend in high school whose middle name was Prince, and to this day, he goes by Prince. He's pretty high up at an investment bank and got his job by interviewing under his OG name and then a few weeks in told everyone he goes by Prince. Genius move, IMO!

I have a mom board friend who used the middle name Rocket for her son

I really wanted to use Clover for our second child who was a happy surprise, but it just didn’t fit with any of the first names we liked

Our first has the middle name Dawn, which was my nod to my hippie side
