Everyone is going SY. Buckle up.

I'd bet against this call

It’s more like another 15 months. No changes until then. ECNL wil not add their own biobanding or whatever people think. They will not do anything more for next years trapped 8th graders.

Don’t just sit around and wait for your kid to be the oldest and think that will change much for them
If they are not putting in the work.

At this point maybe no one is going SY

You are talking about this, so you are an idiot.

In fact, you are just one of us who know nothing and hope the change will be next year. Fyi, BY registration, does not prevent the league from making its own rules! MLS biobanding is a perfect example. Let's wait one more week for the official release.

If you are not an insider, then better shutup. Things will not go your way if you talk more. Psychology-wise, it might soothe your mind, so it is good for mentally weak people.

ECNL/US Club soccer affiliate leagues will be. Each league will have the ability to choose a birthdate cutoff that’s works best for them within their state. Their will be rules in place for national level tournaments or when teams from various states play each other.

That would be kind of funny… imagine all the governing bodies working together and spending all this time to develop a plan then to goto us soccer and they say sure whatever you want sounds good, the. You spend more time just trying to make it all make sense.

Just to eventually say screw it! Let’s just keep it the same.

That actually makes sense if US soccer is involved.

Are you that stupid? ECNL put so much effort into pushing SY. Staying in BY will result in a catastrophic PR failure for the ECNL image. ECNL will go to SY 100%. We just need to wait one more week to see the official release. Since they hold their lips so tight, I would put my money on some significant transition plan.

This again. ECNL put almost no effort whatsoever pushing SY. They care slightly because college coaches think it would be easier. Other than that they care not. O there will not be any transition plan until the end of the summer and it will all involve 2026

You know nothing. As one of the paying peasants, you are just one of the insecure parents worrying about your mediocre player who will lose the spot after SY.

I think the director of the ECNL clubs already knows the proposal. Nobody will disclose it as it is pending USSF approval. ENL and USSF should have already finished negotiating for the final plan that both parties can accept. Let's wait and see. I already have several plans depending on the outcome. I hope you are too!

Suck it!

Maybe in a few years. If rosters are 80-90% Q1/Q2 now in ECNL, they'll be able to compete with Q3/Q4 either at their level or below. The age effect will reverse this of course over time. Additionally, the clubs can't afford to upset this large current customer base. If you believe otherwise, you are deluding yourself.
