Some jurisdictions have laws against discriminating against victims of domestic violence; I’m not sure if Maryland is one of them. |

Why would you assume the employee will loose her job? I would not at all make that assumption if anything, I would hope the school helps her. |

| Holton parent here. I would be shocked if the school did anything other than support the employee to the utmost. |

*lose If you work at a school with children and your personal life creates a threat to those children, it's safe to say that you'll at best have a very contentious annual review. |
