Moronic governor's incompetence has been on display in his first month. He could have just asked for legislative action instead of picking that stupid fight with school boards.

Now, how do we get Chap Peterson thrown out of office? 10% to recall him right?

Funny - you had no problem when Democrats like Peterson were sponsoring legislation to force schools statewide to remain open regardless of rising cases. Now its masks - its an issue?

And now a new bill and amendment with BIPARTISAN SUPPORT is passing lightening fast in his state assembly supporting his ban on masks. Youngkin is looking prescient and proactive. Unlike someone else in a white house that is exactly...18 miles from his family farm. The Biden team could take some lessons on supporting effective and needed policies not just wishlists which get no support across the aisle.

I know. And half of NOVA voted for him. Petersen and Youngkin are only doing what vocal constituents asked for.

+1 The positions he is taking are broadly popular with most Virginians. He knows he’s not going to win over NOVA liberals regardless so I doubt he’s all that concerned with their perceptions of him.

He won over this NOVA liberal. I went from "you've got to be kidding; I would never," to "how bad does it have to get on the D side" to "OK, I'll hold my nose and vote for Youngkin," to "can you send me a yard sign." Very happy so far.

It will be effective July 1. All of the divisions wanting masks now will be fine with no masks next school year, if not sooner. They just didn't want to be forced to do it in the midst of the Omicron surge.
