He could have been sick for a few days already.

The vast majority don't seem to be. Personally, I'd rather he got seriously ill, and recovered. Maybe he'll develop some empathy that way.

You expect too much. More than likely, his attitude would be, "I got over it, so can you", not realizing (no surprise) that as POTUS he has access to the best doctors and care this world can offer, unlike the rest of us.

Well, he started showing symptoms Wednesday at the earliest, which is still a very quick progression, and you actually don't want someone with mild symptoms in a hospital because they don't need that amount of care and their risk of getting a secondary infection is higher in the hospital. Also, in terms of optics, I am sure Trump would not want to go to the hospital unless it was medically necessary.

I don't think it was this early, but stil he almost died and he still has not fully recovered.

Right. Current rules require a SC nominee to testify and be approved by Judiciary Committee. They would need to change the Senate rule to skip those steps. If Grassley gets sick, ACB is delayed until after the election.

A friend posted this on Facebook an hour ago: "What the flying f is going on with all the helicopters on the Hill today? It's insane."

One of the responses was "Same here is NW. Presidential helicopters (3 big ones flying low) all day. Back and forth. Back and forth. At one point they circled low over our house for 25 minutes."

A little surprised more people haven't mentioned this actually. If it's all 3 presidential helicopters, they're transporting POTUS.
