And knowledge or tact yours. . . |
| if you can get inside the courtyards of the yale residential colleges - and I think you might only walk through one of them on a tour - they're pretty dreamy. Oxford rip off, sure, but a v good one. |
| Pepperdine. Ok buildings. But you can’t beat that view. |
Yuck |
+1 If a college wasn't founded in the 1800s or earlier, chances are it shouldn't be on this list. There are always exceptions but generally newer schools like JMU just don't have charm. |
Agreed! Just look, for example, at their crappy libraries! 🙄
|
Are you willing to show the office park angles all across northwestern? I don’t know how the other poster didn’t like Columbia, but god northwestern is super ugly if you don’t like glass everywhere. |
+1 We saw Branford on our tour - it was gorgeous! These kids are so lucky! |
Maybe i toured the wrong residential college, but I didn’t find Saybrook or Pauli Murray nice. Just a difference in personal tastes I’m sure, not like the kids are suffering. |
What have you seen that is nicer than Saybrook or Pauli Murray? |
DP. Totally disagree. It’s a lovely campus.
|
Agree to disagree. I found W&L to be pretty, but wasn’t impressed with Richmond. A school doesn’t have to be old to be beautiful. |

The other elite colleges DD toured at and enjoyed: Uchicago, Princeton, Berkeley |
