#workingmom??? OMG shut the hell up. You have and have had a stay at home husband (perhaps ex but still). Get over yourself. That's like a guy saying #workingdad and his wife is a SAHM. Great I'm glad you have kids and are able to have a career, but seriously STFU about it already. The amount of love she has for herself is ridiculous. I feel like she inserts things like #workingmom and not leaving the @kaneshow as jabs at this thread. You know she is still reading it, and maybe even commenting on it. Who knows. One thing is for sure...she needs to get over herself because she is obnoxious as hell. All her talk about postpardum depression, being a working mom, her relationship issues, breastfeeding while black, etc. etc. etc. are just ploys she uses to keep the spotlight directly on her. Which have a.) made most people despise her, b.) show how self-involved she is, and c.) ruined the Kane show for a lot of people (not that Kane didn't help that with his little divorce announcement bullshit).

And by the way, maybe between her breastfeeding, dealing with postpardum, asking people for 5 dollars, being on the radio, being on TV, encouraging people to cheat, moving into a new home, handling being a working mom, and probably fighting crime at night, just maybe she could get that rat turd lanced off her nose. Just saying.

So she's doing a local news segment in Tampa? So?

That's not the tv gig she has been talking about..it's just press for the PPD documentary she's in.

I find it odd that her relationship issues cropped up right after Kane made his announcement. Anything to make sure ALL the attention is on her. She is so full of herself. I can't imagine knowing her in real life.

I do not consider myself a Danni fan, but it really disturbs me to see the number of people on this thread maligning her for her repeated references to being a working mom, pumping at work, etc. As a working mom, myself, I can say without hesitation that moms in the workforce deal with a whole host of challenges that their childless coworkers do not. The heart-wrenching guilt of leaving a child for work is real whether the child stays with dad, another relative, or a third-party care provider. And for women - particularly those who are breastfeeding and plan to pump - the transition back to work is even more difficult, both emotionally and physically. I am lucky enough to have a private office for pumping, but many friends have been relegated to supply closets with no seating and the like. Not to mention battling preconceived notions from old guard male management that working moms are not as committed to their jobs as their male counterparts. Yes, this is still a thing in 2015. So, while I have much respect for #workingdads, they simply do not face all of the same issues as #workingmoms.

While you may not like the way Danni chooses to express herself, putting the spotlight on things like working moms, postpartum depression, breastfeeding, and pumping at work is a net positive.

AGREE! There definitely are workplace perceptions of working moms and pumping moms. And although no one on this thread seemed to recognize it, there is a disparity in certain communities when it comes to breastfeeding awareness. These are real issues. I guess people just don't like her delivery of them or her sanctimonious air. But I don't knock her for what she chooses to bring spotlight to... As long as it's genuine and not a self serving platform.
Some people deliver the message in a less preachy, "look at me! I'm an awesome crusader!" way....

Who is deeming it an "issue" that black women don't breastfeed as often as other races? Doctors? The women themselves? Seems to me that the decision to breastfeed in general is a personal one based on factors not related to the amount of "community support" one may or may not receive. And don't even get me started on the working moms issue.

Danni just posted a picture (of herself) captioned: "Today was a good day!!!!! ?#?workingmom? I miss my babies!!"

everyone knows you are a working mom. you don't need to remind people every chance you get, especially when the picture has nothing to do with being a working mom.

While I find Danni just as annoying as the rest of you, and I think she could find better ways to bring attention to the issues she talks about, there is a racial disparity in breastfeeding. Tt has been documented, researched and health professionals are trying to find ways to close the gap. Please see link to medical journal article on the subject below (it's not free, but you can read the abstract )

No thanks Danni we don't need the information.. I am a black breast feeding working mom and I never knew it was an issue in the community.. So are all my girlfriends

Curious as to what her opinions are of SAHM, her honest opinion. Not her Kane show opinion.

I'm starting to be offended by Danni and her constant #workingmom comments. Am I not good enough because I'm a working women who can't have kids?? I don't and have never been offended by any comments about kids but this is getting ridiculous!

I thought so too. It was so random that she just ALL THE SUDDEN doesnt feel like he loves her etc and she started crying. Meanwhile Kane and IJ had NO reaction and sounded so uncomfortable with it

So true. They go silent when she goes off on her tangents. Then when Rose has a sick grandparent, Kane "jumps into action" and does whatever he can to help her. I know Rose doesn't seem to have personal issues (that she shares on the air) and losing a grandparent is heartbreaking. You would think if they were the "family" they talk about, they would show support for Danni. Albeit fake radio support, you would think they would at least pretend.
