I wonder why Shiloh seemingly hates her dad more than the adopted boys that he allegedly assaulted on the plane? As far as I know, neither of them have legally dropped Brad’s last name. Shiloh is biologically related to Brad too, so you would think she would feel a stronger tie to him.

I think Angelina was behind filing the name change document. I think it is another one of her public relations moves against Brad in the ongoing divorce and winery cases. She fights dirty. Every time he wins against her in court, she deals him a big personal blow. She sold their winery to a company she knew he didn’t want to be in business with when he won custody of the kids. She brings up her abuse allegations every time he files something in court in the winery case. When he won the motion to compel her to produce her NDA agreements, she planned to have his daughter drop his name on his birthday to hurt him. Her strategy is to destroy him, personally and public relations-wise, so that she can win the custody, divorce and winery proceedings. I think she believes eventually he will be so broken by her attacks against him that he will give her everything she wants.

Nanny said that Jolie's mom couldn't bear to look at Jolie because she looked so much like Voight, who had cheated on her/left her for a younger woman. She and James lived in a nice apartment, but her mom sequestered Jolie in a separate apartment upstairs, everything was completely white, walls and carpet, and was cared for by a revolving set of nannies throughout the day. And, of course, she also turned them both against their father. Again, if true, it's all really messed up.

Jolie is damaged goods. Sadly, she’s passed all of her trauma and dysfunction on to her children. She created the same broken family her mom did.

I’m not sure what you are talking about. If what you said is true, you’d think she could have said something to him privately. Changing your legal name like that is a pretty harsh and rash decision when you’ve just turned 18-years-old. From an article posted on this thread, it seemed like Brad thought he could reconcile with her, but she pretty much ruled that out by filing this legal document.

Why not? His kids seemingly hate him and want nothing to do with him. He has every right to create another family where he can have children who want him in their lives.

Why would she even need to tell him stop? Lying about your relationship with your estranged children and creating fake scenarios should be given. It's obvious by the timing, Brad knew something was coming and tried to get ahead of it. Think about his image to the very end.

It says she used her own money and lawyer. They had a guardian ad litem for awhile so it's probably them. The older kids most likely look to Angelina for money still. Shiloh has more leeway.

What makes you think it’ll be any different?

If he had children with a normal woman, I think she would allow the child(ren) to have a relationship with him even if they divorced. I think Angelina is crazy and damaged her troubled childhood/youth. I think she has turned the children against him and won’t allow him to be in their lives out of spite.

Child support isn’t paid directly to a child. He paid that money to Angelina. She did not use her money to do this. Angelina did and Angelina’s rep confirmed the legal filing to People magazine.
