Well, I don't know. I do not trust the mainstream Canadian media, TBH. Not in reporting this. They are paid by the Canadian gov. And why did they not use them for 3 weeks, all those arsenals of weapons? It doesn't add up. They had them, and they sat in their cars and did nothing with them?
I am not saying these are planted, but why were they not used? Heck, we had protesters on the 6th swarm the Capitol in leather Haloween outfits!

Why should they use them? The city did nothing to move them along. Darn near seemed like they got a key to the city. As to why they didn't use them in the end, they probably didn't have an Oathkeepers type element in their group yet. Just people who've got no training but they've got the weapons and they felt like that was enough.

The problem with all these cries for freedom is that the people calling for it don’t even understand it. In a society, freedom is not absolute - when does your freedom impinge on mine? Further, various freedoms oftentimes conflict. So, while it’s fine to protest, these truckers don’t have the right to indefinitely shutdown a city or a primary bridge because doing so deprives others of their rights, economic and otherwise.
