He's mostly concerned with re-opening the city and making appearances 24/7 - saying he doesn't sleep.

What he NEEDS to be doing is making the city safe. He's a former NYPD detective, no? Deploy cops on every station platform. That is a no brainer. Bring in the national guard to make sure the entrances are secured.

And for god's sake - take $2 billion from SOMEWHERE (that new Infrastructure law for instance) and put in those East Asian subway barriers so people feel safer against attacks. Cameras inside the trains would be even better.

I still don't understand how he not only was arrested but had a $250,000 bond so he had to languish in jail until it was reduced.
