Confidence is growing that a winter storm with the intensity of a hurricane, snow measured in feet and blizzard-like conditions will impact major Northeast cities this weekend.

Bomb cyclone is great news for people who love to defecate on teachers and blame them for school closures. Pity it’s starting on a Friday and not a Monday. That sucks.

I'm on the Mid Atlantic Weather Forum, where the mets and the snow junkies are thoroughly disgruntled about the Bomb Cyclone miss.

I would like to have as much as snow as won't cut off my power! I have a number of cold-sensitive pets right now!
