Count me in for a BC! All my fam is in NY/NJ and I’m so jealous of them. The worst part is none of them love storms and snow as much as I do! Why did I move south??

I like having power, so no thanks.

A couple of inches of snow is awesome: it's pretty and we have heat.

I’m posting from ground zero of bomb cyclone’s expected target (south of Boston). We are very excited for some decent sledding and the snowblower is ready!

Bring in on, bomb cyclone!

The last bomb cyclone, my mother was flying back from Europe and had her flight diverted to Philly, spent the night at the airport, before continuing on to Tennessee.

Bombogenesis sounds awesome but I'm happy we're a miss, this time.

We’ve had them here before. 96, 03, 09, 11, 15… it just wasn’t our turn.

Fine by me. I HAVE to go to work, I can’t sit at home for days on end like the rest of you nonessential slackers.

Ha- the funny thing is, where this bomb cyclone actually hit, many areas were back to business as usual come Monday. The school district my brother's kids attend, in suburban Boston, had this on their twitter Sunday night: "Regular school day in ____ tomorrow. Sidewalks are not clear yet and roads are narrow. Please drive carefully and leave plenty of time." Not even a delay! People would be losing their minds there!
