Not a sauce but try minced jalapenos, chopped cilantro and a squirt of lime juice and some flaky sea salt.

Or just make cornbread!

Spoonful or two of chipotle/smoky salsa.

I wish I had the recipe, but my niece made a frozen corn dish for family xmas a couple of years ago, I remember the corn was charred and I think there was a very little cream in it but don't recall the other added ingredients or flavors at all. I asked her during the event what was in it and she just said "love and magic" (this is her personality not a state secret, I'm going to have to badger her for it)

Maque choux -- saute chopped onion and pepper (which you can also buy frozen) in lots of butter and add the frozen corn at the end till its hot.

I usually add butter, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. I've been doing this for years and used to serve it when I hosted an day after Thanksgiving party. It was always one of the biggest hits and people loved it.

I often top it with a dollop of fresh guacamole from Whole Foods.

That Fish Taco Sauce was, I indeed, wonderful. And reasonably healthy. I wonder if there’s a copycat recipe out there?

I cook it until it's roasted and dark on places and elote it up

Mexican street corn casserole. The recipes vary.

Bacon, sautéed onions, and sprinkles of cilantro and cheese if you like them. Not in a jar, but if you want a very simple version, Whole Foods sells decent, cooked bacon bits, and you can chop spring onions instead of the sautéed ones.

+1
I make it with more cream than butter, but it’s delicious either way.

I add to tacos.

Saute onions, add ground turkey (or beef or pork), add black beans, add can of diced tomatoes, add can of corn. Spices to your taste (cumin, smoked paprika, garlic and onion powder, plus chili powder and red pepper flakes to your hearts content)

I’m so sad it’s gone. I used to use it for shrimp, and spread on a pita with Parmesan cheese in the toaster. It was so good.

Microwave it and put lots of butter on it.
