I mean, I can’t argue with any of his points. 😂.
Statistically, his students are highly likely to be carrying but until now STDs where the most dangerous virus’s those kids where likely carrying but those obviously did affect him. |
| Good for him. I hope to do this the day before I retire. |
| Subject line is misleading. The prof. is at Ferris State, which is in Michigan. But he’s not a University of Michigan professor as the subject line suggests. |
I didn’t suggest anything. Curious you infer University of Michigan over Michigan State too but that’s not my problem. - OP |
|
He's so right. |
| Did you see the part of the video where he said he'd already assigned grades randomly so what they did in class didn't matter? When a professor starts taking the anger out on the students, it's time to go. |
No? Regardless there’s nothing they can do to him. He’s tenured. They have to suspend him WITH pay which I assure you he’s perfectly happy about. Retirement this year too? Nice. |
That's all fine with me. As long as he's not teaching. |
Tenure does NOT mean that professors can’t be fired for cause. That is a misconception. |
Really? If this was a professor at Mount St. Mary’s, it would be passing strange for you to write as the subject line “Tenured Maryland professor...” because everyone would immediately assume University of Maryland. Same thing if it was James Madison prof and you wrote “Tenured Virginia professor...” And if it was a Michigan State professor, I would expect someone to write “Tenured Michigan State professor” because, that’s the university that would have given him tenure. |
DP. In the state of Michigan, the University of Michigan is referred to as Michigan, and Michigan State University is referred to as Michigan State or just State. (FTR, there is no such thing as UMich [U-Mish], as some non-Michiganders mistakenly call it) |

He knew exactly what he was doing. 🤴
He wanted to get fired, he didn’t want to go on to the end of his contract. |
Did I say they couldn’t fire him? They don’t have TIME. To fire a tenured professor would take a year of investigation, hearings, and committees. Unless he murdered someone and the body is in living room. |
Nope. If someone said Tenured DC Professor I’d click on the thread to find out which one - Georgetown, American, GWU, Howard etc |
