DH grooming

Anonymous
This is becoming a problem for me and I plan on talking to DH about it. A few years ago he requested I go get a brazillian wax and I loved it, not during but afterwards. I have kept it bare since and I think most of us do now anyway. The problem is DH is out of control down there, never does anything. So my quesiton is, do most guys just let it grow out of control or do they trim, shave it all off or am I just being a pain.

You need to be in a equal partnership/contribution relationship. You went Brazillian. He needs to go Brazillian.

Not sure I would want to be with a guy who is shaved

My husband definitely manscapes. I appreciate the effort.

Was it hard to get him to agree to that? How do you keep yours?

ugh, that's not very manly for a guy to mess with it...imo

Guy here. Would never Brazilian (but I wouldn't ask wife to brazilian either, but she does wax nicely there). But I do keep myself groomed. Wife likes it and so do I. As any guy who does "manscape" can also attest, once you do, it looks bigger. And, well, that's often reason enough for us.

My DH manscapes. He's pretty butch in other ways.

Yes-- might leave you with the impression he is not sexually mature yet.

ditto

Ditto again, though both our acceptance of pubic hair and the use of the word "ditto" dates us, I'm afraid. I've posted before that while I get that fashions change, I don't understand this abhorrence of pubic hair, and didn't believe the first DCUM who mentioned manscaping. As a social phenomenon, that's really interesting, and in fact, I don't get it.

I do the grooming for DH. He's lazy to do it himself but he doesn't mind if I offer to do it for him. We have so much fun

I think there is a generational divide here. Not sure what the cut-off is, but I think it is around 35-40. Below that age, it is expected, above that age, rare.
Is this right?

My dad is 60 and he's groomed.
My bro and DH are 30 and both do too.

Totally! My dad and I talk about his pubic hair all the time when I'm back home. Then we talk about ball sweat. Daddy's little girl and all.
