I think it depends on what your goals are - just consuming fewer calories? Or improving a hormone imbalance? In the Obesity Code, he talks about the fact that artificial sweeteners produce an insulin response the same as real sugar, so taking mints to prolong a fast would be counterproductive if your goal is improving insulin resistance. |
It's marketing, pure and simple. If you want the taste of something sweet in your mouth, drink a flavored seltzer or herbal tea. |

I hate to use this phrase becuase it feels empty but these actually "work". I had a problem with night snacking after completing a fast and Temper mints helped. to each their own but these worked great for me. |
I got an ad for these on Instagram and made an impulse buy. The mints worked for me but it was really the coaching that made the difference. I ended up losing 15 pounds on the advice of my coach. Temper works if you want it too |
