Fresh lasagna sheets?

Anonymous
Does anyone know of a store that carries fresh lasagna sheets that just need a couple of minutes in boiling water before they are done?

I made lasagna today. It took soooo long to assemble, partly because I had to batch boil the pasta sheets. I'm waiting for the cheese to melt. I'm sure it will be amazing, but omg so time consuming.

I make my own pasta now, but honestly you don’t really need to boil lasagna sheets, you just soak them in very warm water, in a sheet pan or something.

If you use fresh pasta you do not boil the sheets. I say this as someone who has made fresh pasta but usually to cut into something else, not as just the sheets.

I don’t think fresh sheets are your solution. I suggest not boiling the sheets - either soak as a PP said or use no-boil. The best tip depending on your recipe is to make what you can the day before, like any of your sauces. Hard to say not knowing what type but for example make the meat sauce the day before. Also ricotta type is easier vs béchamel as you’d probably prefer to make the béchamel fresh.
