| When and where do you practice exercise regularly? At gym or at home? I work full-time and have 2nd grader. My husband travels for work and is gone from Monday through Friday...I'm trying to find a best way to start exercising...but have no idea where to start. |

i know this seems silly, but i do the firm, yes, ordered off of an infomercial at 3 am while feeding my DD!! but i do it after she goes to sleep. i also have tae bo, pilates. some of them are cheesy but i find doing it at night after she goes to bed is the only way i can get it done. and i get off a stop or two early from the metro to walk on the days i work, jog with the jogging stroller on the weekends.

I take a hard run around the neighborhood before my DD wakes up and before DH leaves for work.
I have come to terms that I will never get more than 6 hours of sleep ever again - for the next 18 years, but running has always been part of my life and I feel too "off" when skipping it.

| We moved into a condo, partially b/c we have easy access to a nice gym in the basement of our building. My DD, who is 5, likes to color while I exercise for about 45 minutes. Yes, we have sacrificed space for this arrangement, but at least I am fit!! If you don't have access to a gym, then an exercise DVD is probably your best bet. But it really helps me when I see others exercising. See if you can get a friend to watch your daughter so you can get to a gym, and you can take turns watching her kids so she can exercise also. |
| My kids are 9 and 5. I get up in the morning before anyone else and exercise. A few years back we bought a treadmill and a cross trainer because much as we wanted otherwise, we never made it to the gym. If I wait until later in the day, too often something comes up and I don't get the time. |
| My employer provides a gym in the same buildling and I take advantage of it 2x per week at lunch. I love that it's in the same building that I work; it saves so much travel time to just get to and from the gym. |

1. Dance studio twice a week
2. Gym studio twice a week at lunch 3. Home - dancing with the kids. 4. Bed : ) |
I take 5:45am spin class 3x's a week. I am a SAHM of 2 boys and this is the only time that works. When I come back the boys happily greet me at the door, like I just got back from work

I do outside sales, and always park further away than I have to. I take the stairs instead of the elevator as well.
I have two small children, and a house, there is always something that needs my attention at night, and I leave before the sun comes up. |
I work full time and have a toddler. I wake up at 5:30 and run with our dog before he wakes up - that way I get exercise, the dog gets exercise and I'm still done before my DS is awake. I do this 3x during the workweek, then run longer on the weekends while DH watches him. Waking up that early is painful in the beginning but you get used to it if you stick with it. I love getting up that early now, seriously! I feel like I get so much done and don't miss out on any family time. |
| Wow, you are all very impressive. I have a 4 month old and I used to love exercising. Now I am really so tired at 5:30 I can barely walk to the baby's room. |
Me too! Wow getting up at 5:30 to exercise is impressive. |
| It's easier if you enlist a friend to join you... |

Gym twice a week, with a friend, and walk everywhere - at least 2 miles of fast walking per day, even on work days.

| I work out in my basement.....in my underwear....whenever I want (usually 5am). (Not being funny....it works!) Treadmill, Eliptical, and free weights.....oh yea.....I move laundry (doing squats) in the process. |
