What should I eat/serve tonight?

Anonymous
I am sick of cooking and eating and serving after a long winter break and quarantine.

We’ve recently had pasta, last night was the NYT’s Cheesy Black Bean bake with cornbread. We’ve gotten takeout too much (so no to Peruvian chicken/burgers/pizza). We have OD’ed on Mediterranean hack (feta, olives, naan, hummus). I have frozen chicken breast. I don’t feel like breakfast for dinner.

Any help? Thanks

I just went out on my lunch hour and bought salads for $30 and will eat one for dinner and another for lunch tomorrow.

I'm making tuna subs with chips on the side.

I just bought the carne asada from Trader Joes. It is so good!

We're making pancakes for dinner. I'm worn out from working with my toddler at home due to the snow.

Stuffed squash
Stir fry

We're having chicken noodle soup. The kids were playing in the snow until a few minutes ago and came in wet and cold and it was perfect (I had made it earlier this afternoon so it was ready for them for an early dinner.)

Smitten kitchen’s chicken and cabbage. We use a package of thighs.

Too late for tonight, but a stir-fry is easy and different from the list you offered.

We had grilled cheese and soup- thank you, all. And I put risotto and stuffed squash on my list for the next couple of days. What do you stuff your squash with (that sort of picky eaters will eat)? I have three kinda petite acorn squash from a farm stand… Rice? Mushrooms? Breadcrumbs?

Good days for pulling out the crockpot and making some chili, pork BBQ, or beef stew. Or use the chicken for some chicken stew.
