Mine would be any movie that makes me think for hours, weeks, or even years after. |
Yes. Like any Tarantino movie. |
| What kind of stuff do you think type Bs like? Adam Sandler movies? |
Nonfiction. |
| Such a weird question. I am very Type A and try to only watch comedy - either comedy specials, stand-up, or comedy series. Why? Because life is miserable enough and I want to laugh and escape the stress of reality when I watch TV. |
Cut off and meant to add --- I'd imagine that Type B probably likes to do the same. |
| Dh and I like all kinds of stuff. I'm excited for the second season of Cheer, just finished Selling Sunset, currently watching some thriller series set in England, etc. We like standup comedy specials too - Eliza Schlesinger, Hannah Gadsby, Trevor Noah, etc. |
This is me especially during Covid. |

Legally Blonde
Devil wears Prada Divergent Hunger Ganes GI Jane Basically any movie where girls rule |
| Million Dollar Baby |
| I’m type b and my husband is type A and we watch mostly the same movies. Horror is too scary for me and I have to twist his arm to get him to watch Pride and Prejudice with me but other than that it’s the Office and whatever gritty white troubled man TV show is popular at the moment. |
Omg I am very Type A and I love stand-up comedy. My DH thinks it’s weird. I try to explain to people that truly excellent stand-up comedy is more closely related to philosophy than entertainment, but nobody understands. |
I'm definitely not a type A, and these are the kinds of movies I love too. Weird question. |
| Frasier is my personal favorite! It’s in Hulu and my go to when I need a pick me up. It’s comedy that works for Type As like Frasier and Niles or Type Bs like Marty and Roz. |
| Also a big standup fan, appreciate the time, intelligence, discipline and control that all goes into very good comedy. Favorites include people who are or once were truly at the top of their game, the big names, all highly disciplined and laser focused: Chris Rock, Sebastian Maniscalco, Louis CK (controversial I know), Wanda Sykes, Joan Rivers, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey, George Carlin, Bill Maher, etc. |
